As a growing company, Pirrello Digital Imaging currently has several open employment opportunities for key positions and is seeking ambitious, self-motivated individuals wishing to enter or remain a part of the exciting field of commercial photography.
Photographer
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Digital Photographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The candidate must have overall general experience with Fashion, Tabletop, Room Scene, and Location photography and experience with Digital Photographic Equipment and Digital Processing Software on the Apple computer. The ideal candidate will also possess a college degree in a related field or have other similar formal training or equivalent experience. A desire to work with people and good communication skills are necessary. No travel outside the Chicago area is involved. This position will report directly to the Studio Manager.
Photographer Assistant
This is the quintessential opportunity for the individual wishing to enter the Commercial Photography field. We welcome the new college graduate, and no experience is necessary for the degreed individual. This is an entry-level, apprenticeship position and the first step to becoming a Commercial Photographer. We will train on the job, and a self-motivated desire to learn is a must. The candidate we seek will hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with good scholastic standing or will have other equivalent formal training or related experience. This position will report to the photographer.
Set Designer
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Photography Set Designer with proven skills in Set Design for the retail and catalog business. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design or other similar field of study, or have other equivalent formal training or experience. This position will be working closely and directly with the client and with all other studio staff members; hence, outstanding people and customer relationship skills are mandatory. The Set Designer must be a highly self-motivated individual with good project management skills who can run the project without the need for close supervision. This position reports directly to the Studio Manager.
Set Builder
We are seeking a hard-working individual with at least 5 years of experience in the field of interior construction. No direct experience in the field of Commercial Photography Set Building is required for this position, as we will train the individual. The position requires a diligent person with outstanding skills in carpentry, painting, and other interior construction tasks. The individual must be detail-oriented and must take pride in his or her work. Reporting to the Set Designer, the Set Builder will construct materials needed for studio sets according to the design and layout prepared by the Set Designer.
Soft Stylist
We seek an individual with 5 or more years of experience as a Soft Stylist in the Commercial Photography field. The candidate will have specific experience with Home Fashions such as bedding, curtains, towels, etc. The individual will be reporting to the Set Designer and working closely with the Set Designer and Studio Manager.
